Elephant Juice
The Brief
Rachel contacted us looking for the perfect song for her first dance. Tired of the old classics, she and her fiancé Matthew were desperate to find something full of personal jokes and references that they and their loved ones would instantly recognise.
The Process
We interviewed Rachel and Matthew to learn all about their lives together. From Matthew’s proposal on the beach to the secret catchphrase that inspired the title, we had to weave their most special memories into something catchy yet heartfelt. Once we had a complete set of lyrics, we composed a soulful piano ballad to bring the whole track to life.
The Result
Surrounded by their friends and family, Rachel and Matthew were pleased to start their married life together dancing to ‘Elephant Juice’. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Price!
143…1432 (A Love Song)
The Brief
Paul, an amateur musician from Liverpool, wanted a special song that he could perform for his wife Pop to celebrate their family and marriage…specifically requesting that we made it ‘easy to play!’.
The Process
We chatted to Paul, finding out the story of his life with Pop. Everything from their children’s names and where they met, through to the location of their wedding and their favourite bands! Once we had turned these happy memories into personalised lyrics, we created a beautiful acoustic pop track full of gentle guitar and soaring backing vocals to match the emotion Paul wanted.
The Result
Paul surprised his family with a live performance and was met with amazement and plenty of applause! We love a happy ending.
Fiona and Keith
The Brief
Keith contacted us as he wanted to surprise his wife Fiona on their wedding anniversary. He specifically requested a song in the style of the 1980s power ballads that Fiona loves.
The Process
We loved getting to know Keith! He provided us with some wonderful, funny stories from their past, enabling us to create a song full of intimate details that were special and personal to Fiona. To achieve an authentic sound, we used big drums and bright synths to really bring the 80s back to life.
To make song the song even more personal, one of Fiona and Keith’s best friends recorded a blistering guitar solo for the song.
The Result
Fiona loved her special song and was immediately transported back to the 80’s!
